- 2 pimientos rojos cuadrados

- 160 gramos Carne (pechuga o contramuslos de pollo, jamón de cerdo...)
- 2 tomates rallados
- Perejil
- Colorante

- Caldo (misma cantidad que arroz)
- Sal

- Se sofríe el ajo sin pelar a fuego medio 30 seg. Se añade la carne, cortada en tacos previamente, (contramuslos de pollo en mi caso) y se pone a fuego fuerte para marcarla. Se añade sal.


- Cuando esté sellada se añade tomate rallado y perejil. Se deja el tomate espesar (2-3 min) a fuego fuerte

- Se añade arroz y se deja sofreír 2-3 min (si es necesario se baja un poco la potencia en este paso para que no se pegue el arroz). Se agrega la misma cantidad de caldo que de arroz, se echa colorante y se deja hervir a fuego MEDIO 5 o 10 minutos, hasta que el arroz se hincha un poco. Se comprueba la sal. TRUCO: en mi caso añadí caldo de cocido que me sobró de otro día


- Se abren los pimientos. Se separa la tapa y se quitan las pepitas. Se rasura la parte inferior de la tapa y el rabo se corta un poco para que no se queme. Se añade el relleno (cuidado de no saturar el pimiento, el arroz se infla en el horno), se tapan los pimientos, se echa un chorro de aceite superficial y se meten en el horno entre 60 y 90 minutos a 210 grados arriba y abajo(aquí tenéis que verlo con vuestro propio horno). Opcional: si no os gusta el ajo quitadlo antes de rellenar el pimiento.



- Se prueba el arroz de la superficie y se comprueba que el pimiento está hecho. Esta es la parte más difícil, saber cuándo retirarlo del horno. En mi caso, tapo la superficie con papel de aluminio desde el principio para no quemarla. Pues listo, ya me contaréis como os sale, a disfrutar!
